at this year’s show of rietveld academie’s fashion department, seven students showcased their collection. the one standing out was the graduation collection of denise esser, whose collection is conceptually based on the transformation from soft to hard. the result is a full-on sci-fi chic series of different silhouettes with striking futuristic detailing.
